  1. Self control is the humble dwelling place of a calm and composed mind. It is an everyday affair when you will find yourself in such a spot where controlling your irritation seems far more difficult but expressing your resentment will further spoil and stain one’s character. The best part and the key of joyful living is forgiving one another and being humble all the time. So I think point number 11 is a great learning to be courteous and delicate even when provoked by someone.

  2. In my opinion No: 13 goes a long way in inculcating and practicing Humility, Dignity is a quality of being honourable, noble & worthy , therefore, it’s essential to share this sense with all that we come into contact with and certainly not use it to fuel self pride.

  3. I feel we should do our own work and not think what others feel or say. I think hard work brings success. Every individual has
his strength and weakness and if we try to improve them ourselves, we grow.Expections from others makes us weak. We get carried away. Believe in ones self is humility for me.

  5. There was a time when I thought that being humble meant being weak so I stayed away from it. But as I started walking on this path that I am now walking, and as I began to learn more and more about who I truly am underneath it all, I have discovered that humility
is not a weakness but rather a
    strength.
Here i would say that from the above mentioned point 11 and 13 can be applied to remain humble.

  6. According to me 1,2 and 13 points remain constant and stable. Humility is one way practice to spend more time to listen others and do talking. Humility is goodness but it is also something we often get wrong. It is the ability to avoid getting wind up in one’s own self importance . Humility help us to get in touch with other people and earn their respect . A famous way of describing humility is honest with oneself and others too.

  8. I think point no .1 and point no.13 are very important to be humble .According to point no .1 ,we should never speak by ourselves to others ,these may be criticises or ur own praises .You should listen from others what they know about you ,and then improve ur mistakes because it is human nature that we just want to listen our praise only and so we never improve ourselves. The best point is point no.13 that never protect yourself behind ur own dignity ,to be humble or a good ,responsible person ,never hide your dignity ,it should be well known to others .

  15. Humility is a virtue that many idolize but few practice. It doesn’t matter what others think about you, what matters is what you think. And, when you know you’re strong, talented and blessed, you don’t need to run around and tell everyone about it. It speaks for itself. You can be humble and strong at the same time. You can know your worth without having to shout it out to the world. In fact, living a life of humility has many benefits because you feel less of a need to prove yourself. You spend more time lifting others up, which ultimately lifts you up in return.

  17. Think about all the great leaders you respect, and why you admire them. Most of the time, the reason will be the accomplishments they have achieved.

But if fame equates to success these days, where does humility come in? Is there any place for humility in leadership?
“Humility” is generally defined as the quality of being modest or lacking in pretense. This seems to contradict the perception that leaders need to be bold. However, one needs to understand that it doesn’t mean a leader should be meek or timid. It simply points toward the fact that humble leaders not only knows what they are capable of, but also attempts to seek the help of others. They understand that everything is not about them it’s the team that matters.
According to me, to increase humility one should- Understand your weaknesses, Foster curiosity, Acknowledge the accomplishments of others.

  28. In my opinion No: 13 goes a long way in inculcating and practicing Humility, Your ability to produce value for the organization is diminished — and so is your morale. … This is a serious issue, because dignity is fundamental to well-being and to human and organizational thriving. And since many of us spend the majority of our waking hours at work, work is a major source of dignity in our lives.

  29. Important point about humility is how it can’t be faked. But this doesn’t mean humility is difficult; in fact, it’s one of the simplest things in the world. But the more you start thinking about how to be more humble, the harder you make it for yourself to actually be humble.Instead of focusing on the humility within you, you should pay more attention to celebrating the achievements of others. It is by acknowledging others and understanding the universal values we all share that you start becoming more humble. In a way, understanding the vastness of the world around us can make us realize our own value and the humility we should feel.

  32. I think option no. 2,4,13 are the most appropriate choices for improvement. Keeping busy with own affairs and adopting the policy of non interference is the best one. When a mistake is done, then it should be admitted boldly without protecting ourselves under the dignity. These things will surely work to make us a humble person.

Humility is an essential foundation to be able to admit you’re not perfect, and that you will benefit from reflecting on what you should do differently. Without humility, we are wearing blinders that get in the way of improving and growing.

All the aspects stand irreplacable in a person’s life to be humble. But I strongly believe to be acceptable in all kinds of situations, whatever comes to you should be accepted positively. Being empathetic to other’s feelings and thinking and not to react or overreact to the situations beyond your control. This will keep you safe and free from various unnecesaary troublesome situations. Keeping to yourself is the major aspect where one should work to be humble.

  43. There is a very famous saying in Sanskrit that a tree with more fruits always stoops down. Humility is a virtue desired by all and earned by very less. I think out of all of the above mentioned points the most important point is ‘to talk less about yourself’. It should be your work that should do the talking and you should talk about it only if compelled to. Giving up the feeling that you are ‘indispensable’ is important. Being self motivated whether you get anything in return or not is significant too. All these things will ensure that you are able to inculcate that much desired humbleness. And the day you achieve it, you surely will be appreciated by all. I would surely love to achieve it someday!

  44. I will go with 1,2,4&11. These are my favourite points also & always try to implement these in my life also. Speak as little as possible about yourself don’t boast yourself. Always try to keep yourself busy with your own matter rather than peeping in others.Don’t interfere in the matters of others until the other person needs your advise.I think no.11 is a little bit difficult to implement properly in our lives but if we follow it,our lives will be much easy & more peaceful.Last but not least we should accept our flaws ,weaknesses & mistakes because sometimes we learn many great lessons from these which also change our lives at great extent.
