  1. In my opinion No:1 & 2 are vital. I guess it’s all about the activities or the tasks that we intend to accomplish daily. I suggest , Identify all those daily tasks , by jotting them down, we may apply the time demanded by each & relevance of the tasks according to our productivity. Therefore you will know which task to prioritise and focus upon. It’s generally well known that two out of ten items, on any general to-do list, will turn out to be worth more than the other eight items put together.

  2. I think no 1 is important to help in increasing our productivity without attracting additional stress or strain.A morning routine that leads to productivity is in fact a science that you can implement in your own life.Mornings don’t have to be rough. By doing a few focused things when you wake up, you can set yourself up for more productivity throughout the day. If it seems daunting to overhaul your morning routine all at once, introduce one new practice a week and see if you notice improvement.
After all, we knew that “if you win the morning, you win the day.”
Don’t we all want to win at life?

    1. I quite agree,Sir. In fact a British Survey & Study asked Skilled workers to report which aspect of their Job Performance improved on the days they Meditated and Exercised – 79% reported sharper social skills , 41% reported enhanced motivation & 92% reported better ability to deal with stress.

  4. Productivity means : The state or quality of being productive. According to me point no… 1, 7, 9 are having their own importance. Wake up earlier will give you maximum time to focus on goals. Morning goals will always increase the amount of brain power. Focus is so important because it’s the right way to all thinking, perception, memory, learning, reasoning etc . Without focus all aspects of life and ability will suffer. Create a proper system for achieving goals and stop trying to do many things at once. Many things will drop out your brain power, so try to do one task at one time with effectively and efficiently.

    1. Quite Right,Madam. Any System is always considered a ‘Solid foundation ‘, In fact,Entrepreneur Steve Olenski recommends implementing the “two-minute rule system” to make the most of small windows of time that you have at work. The idea is this: If you see a task or action that you know can be done in two minutes or less, do it immediately. According to Olenski, completing the task right away actually takes less time than having to get back to it later. Implementing this has made him one of the most influential content strategists in the world.

  10. We’ve all heard that morning people are the most productive people. Truly productive people are not focused on doing more things, this is actually the opposite of productivity. If you really want to be productive, you have got to make a point to do fewer things. You don’t need a lengthy meditation routine. Yoga, meditation, reading or a quiet walk—focus on the outcome, not the practice to get the most out of this special time where you can focus on yourself and center on your heart’s content. You just need something that helps you set your mind on what you want to focus on for the day, and set your heart and mind in the right attitude for the day. Manage your distracting ways by creating a system.

  12. Performance is understood as achievement of the organization in relation with its set goals. It includes outcomes achieved, or accomplished through contribution of individuals or teams to the organization‘s strategic goals. The term performance encompasses economic as well as behavioural outcomes. Brumbach views performance more comprehensively by encompassing both behaviors and results. He is of the view that behaviors as outcomes in their own right, which can be judged apart from results. Performance is an impact. The roles of any manage can be seen in three parts: Being, Doing and Relating.Being it is concerned with the competencies of the manage that are relevant to his/her performance. It is preparedness of the mind of the manager. Doing focuses on the manage activities that are variably effective at different levels in the organization: that affect performance of other roles dependent on the manage output, and the organizational performance as a whole.

  13. Point number 1 is worth considerable.. I would like to use my morning to focus on myself which generally doesn’t happen… Another important point is number 7…stop multitasking.. It really creates stress when we try to cling to every task at the same time… important thing to understand is ‘no body is perfect’ and ‘everyone makes mistakes’.. Another important point is number 9…ofcourse we need to create a system which would lead us to be a perfect manager… In the absence of a system, things get messed up.. 😌

  14. In my opinion, point which says to focus on one task at a time effectively rather than doing ten tasks at the moment is most important. In our lives full of stress, we divert our minds to accomplish various tasks which in return do not give the results as expected. Focusing on a task in hand is vital. Secondly, taking break during our work schedule is of utmost importance. Short pauses and even a break of couple of days from your hectic and stressful schedule rejuvenates you and gives you positivity as well as recharges you to work towards your target with a better vision and great energy.

    1. Quite right about No:4, Madam. Research indicates that humans are designed to “pulse” between expending energy and renewing energy. Tony Schwartz, founder of The Energy Project, teaches this – His research shows that humans naturally move from full focus and energy to physiological fatigue every 90 minutes. Our body sends us signals to rest and renew, but we override them with coffee, energy drinks, and sugar… or just by tapping our own reserves until they’re depleted.

Schwartz suggests that we need to purposely take short breaks every 90 minutes throughout the day to drink water, walk, or to eat healthy snacks. His mantra is, “Pulse and pause.”

  21. In my opinion, first point is most important..We should focus on ourselves in the morning instead of checking our emails or our Facebook profiles…It’s a big productivity killer to start your mornings by checking your emails . Start your day out right by ignoring your emails in the morning and getting in a good breakfast, reading the news, meditating, or working out. This will ensure you’ve got the necessary fuel for a productive day.

But what does it mean to be “happy” in the workplace?
Does it boil down to a) wanting to feel like who we are matters ?, b) That what we do has an impact ? and c) That we are making progress (that our work is having an impact and leading us and our organization forward) ?

However, it is also much easier to get distracted with the internet and our phones which moves us further away from being productive while working. Here are 9 ways to focus and be super productive while working.

Yoga or meditation both fill our body with positive energy, coolness and calmness to get fit in daily process. Along with this 80/20 rule proves good for creative performance. So make it your habit to do new and productive in all the fields.

  34. Greetings for the day! I guess point no. 1,5,7 and 9 are the best ways to stay focused in order to enhance our productivity. I know various people who tend to be Jack of all trades but actually they are master of none. Instead of piling up one’s work it is far far better to focus at one problem, solve it and then to take up another one. Work out in the morning helps a lot to be focused. Post lunch hour is bit lethargic, so its better to accomplish tasks before lunch.
