  1. “Affirmations is a statement said with confidence about a perceived truth” have helped thousands of people make significant changes in their lives. But they don’t always work for everyone.
    -An affirmation can work because it has the ability to program your mind into believing the stated concept. -This is because the mind doesn’t know the difference between what is real or fantasy.
    -There are both positive and negative types of affirmations.
    -I’m sure many of us can remember as a child being told by a teacher, parent or coach that we didn’t have the ability to do something or we were too fat, clumsy, etc. -These unwholesome statements can stay with us in the conscious or unconscious mind and we then reinforce them throughout our lives.

  2. Expecting immediate results always lowers the self esteem and makes a person mentally weak. Also try and try again and don’t give up after ist failure.

    1. Yes! Sometimes we do get immediate results but we should not expect it every time. At times we wont even realize that we have been rewarded for our efforts.
      These results/rewards may come to us in a very subtle way that improves our own ways and changes our lives.

  3. in my opinion,Mental strength isn’t often reflected in what you do. It’s usually seen in what you don’t do. I think It’s about controlling your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. In my short experience, I’d say No: 4 is a heavy weight factor – ourA willingness to develop realistic expectations and an understanding that success doesn’t happen overnight is necessary if you want to reach our full potential,there will be failures along the way, but if we measure our progress and look at the big picture, sheer mental strength shall ensure that success will become attainable.

    1. Yes! Ones who do not try will not fail. But such people do not get that taste of success. It is important to take calculated risks in life. Immediate results may not be seen in the form of a “Report card” but yes the results may come in the form of our changed outlook towards life, our perspective of looking at things, our behaviour etc.

  4. According to me , don’t let others to control our emotions and don’t dwell over past are main points .For me foremost factor is to attain emotional strength and emotions always remain personal for individual and no need to take sympathy from others on emotional ground.

I think ,To be mentally strong ,the most important thing you should keep in your mind that failure is also a part of success .Never give up on your first failure ,it is stepping stones to success.Take a lesson ,inspiration from your failure and go ahead for your success with more hard work ,more confidence .Always learn from your mistakes for your future.And the next point is ,Never expect immediate results,Have patience,put your efforts,give your best for every task ,and wait for result .

  7. Happiness can occur when we least expect it. It can also be fleeting. A chemical explosion of endorphins and increased serotonin enabled by a small event such as laughing with a friend or skipping in the park. Happiness is specific to each individual, not to general consensus. If your idea of pure happiness means sucking pumpkin seeds in your shed on a rainy day, who has the right to deny you that or tell you that that is not real happiness? Be centred and know what brings you happiness but don’t obsess about it. Chasing it seems to make it more elusive.
    Thoughts are more powerful in dealing with a specific situation, circumstance than the actual situation itself. The way we perceive a situation has tremendous power over the quality of our lives. We can marinate in toxic negative thinking or we can enable ourselves and promote resilience by adopting an optimistic outlook. Easier said than done, I know, but well worth the effort.Thats how we make ourself mentally strong.

    1. One should not care about what think and should never care for pleasing them everytime. This only doubles up ones mental pressure and causes mental stress. I always keep my mind relaxed which makes me easy to tackle daily life tasks

As per my opinion, how to be strong whether its mentally or physically firstly u need not to stop inbetween after trying so hard even if u face plenthora of failures in life.Secondly,dont expect immediate results, wait for the turn because someday it will come to u .There are many others ways mentioned in the notion about being mentally strong but i strongly go with the above explained points.

According to my opinion , Don’t worry to pleasing everyone, Don’t shy away from responsibilties and Don’t give up after first failure are most important for mentally strong.We cannot satisfied to each and every personality So try to pleasing yourself rather than others.If you r happy then ur looking towards to others people are also happy and all r happy becz it is our opinion how we can see our situation and how we react.Take your responsibilties as most important factor of ur life.   11. One can be mentally strong by not dwelling over the past.. We should learn from the past as an lesson or experience. Mentally strong person don’t depend upon anyone.. They don’t want any other person to do anything for them. They know their life so it’s their duty to get everything done by themselves.   14. In life, there are times when you need to be mentally sharp, to make good decisions fast in those times you need to be mentally strong. That means managing your emotions, adjusting your thinking, and choosing to take positive act
    So here i go with dont give up after first failure. Failure doesn’t care about how you feel. It makes no concessions. It only throws two choices in your way either give up or fight again. It’s up to you to decide and take the call. You can choose to opt for the easy way out, step back and quit or make the hard choice of picking yourself up, getting back on your feet and starting all over again. So keep trying again and again and should never give up after one or any failure .The right choice will help you steer yourself towards success and transform your life.

Focusing on another person’s success will not pave the way to your own, since it distracts you from your path.Even if you become successful, you may never be content if you’re always focusing on others. You may also overlook your talents and abandon your values and relationships. Resenting other people’s success could be your downfall. Mental strength isn’t often reflected in what you do. It’s usually seen in what you don’t do. It’s about controlling your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.

  28. Greetings for the day! I feel that one should be oneself…not to be influenced by what others say or think of you. Don’t underestimate yourself, whatever the circumstances be…never lose confidence and trust yourself, then only others will trust you. Don’t delay the things, accomplish the smaller targets first and slowly gradually move towards the bigger ones. Don’t be disheartened rather start afresh with new enthusiasm.

  29. All the points mentioned can make an individual mentally strong. This actually depends on situations. Mental strengths is tested only when their is crisis . We need to remove our ego, pain,anxiety , hatred and fear and face it with love, confidence and trust. We should never forget our failures of the past while moving to the future.   34. In order to be mentally strong we should not dwell on the past because if we keep on thinking about past we will not do justice with our present. As we all know Past is a mixture of good and bad experiences so we can learn from those experiences so that not to repeat in the present and try to avoid it totally for the Future.   35. All points are very good to be mentally strong. But i like point no. -6 we should not feel sorry for ourself. If we have done any mistake, then we should work on that to improve it.   36. According to me point no.2 is most important. Don’t dwell on the past. Thinking about the things that didn’t work out well in our past creates negative emotions in the present. It can also cause us to feel helpless ,which prevents us from taking steps to change things for the better. We don’t attempt to do something because a past failure makes us feel like we won’t succeed.

Often times,we questions our past and wonder what would have happened if things had turned out differently. These thoughts can be consuming and keep us from moving forward in life.
